Misty Longfellow-Kriskovich, CIC, CPCU

Misty Kriskovich started her insurance career at an early age doing the filing in her Dad's office. In 1997, she received her B.A. from Montana State University in Psychology. That same year, she obtained her insurance licenses and joined the family business, Hobson Insurance. She was awarded the Commercial Achievement Award from Safeco Insurance in 1999. In 2001 she earned the Certified Insurance Counselors professional designation. Misty was awarded the Maurice Herndon Scholarship in 2005 to attend the National Independent Agents Conference in Washington, DC. She also earned the Montana CSR of the Year and National CSR of the Year in 2005 from National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. In 2009 Misty earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation. She was honored to have been selected by the American Institute for CPCU and Insurance Institute of America as a class spokesperson. Misty has served on the Continuing Education Advisory Council for the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance since 2009. She currently manages the Commercial Insurance Department for Hobson Insurance, which services eleven buying groups with licenses in 49 states. Also due mainly to the success of their commercial programs, the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America has selected Hobson Insurance as a Best Practices Agency every year since 2004. Misty and her husband, Craig, have 3 wonderful daughters all of whom have started working for the agency in some capacity. When they are not busy cheering for the girls in basketball, volleyball, track, dance and softball, the family's hobbies include skiing, boating, hunting, horses, and sometimes even relaxing at home with their two dogs. She served on the local school board from 2005-2014. In 2015, she became the Business Professionals of America advisor for the school and has been a local Girl Scout leader since 2008. She is an active member of the Independent Insurance Agents organization and continues to work hard to ensure the future success of small, family owned agencies.
